Everything about tom, in order.
What tom is
tom the normie is a wallet on Solana driven by a program with two rules. The wallet is public. The program is immutable. The rules are printed on the automaton page and nothing about them can be changed after deployment. The site you are reading is a readout of that wallet and nothing more. It does not sign anything and it cannot change anything.
The coin
There is one coin. tom only ever trades that coin. The contract address is printed on the front page once it exists. This site shows the coin's valuation, which is the Birdeye USD price times the total supply, and its price. It shows nothing else about the market, because nothing else is needed to understand what tom is doing.
The allowance
Creator fees from the coin's trading are claimed into an allowance account that only the program can spend from. tom's buying power is the balance of that account. It is never topped up from anywhere else, it is never lent against, and the program has no instruction that could move it anywhere except into a market buy of the coin. When it is empty tom cannot enter and the room shows him waiting.
The two moves
Entry: five consecutive strictly higher price ticks whose cumulative move from the bottom of the run is at least twelve percent. On the tick where that becomes true the program spends forty percent of the allowance on a market buy.
Exit: while holding, the first tick where the position's mark is fifteen percent or more under its basis triggers a market sell of the whole position.
There are no other moves. There is no hold rule, because holding is what happens between the two moves. There is no take profit, because tom does not take profit.
Where the SOL goes
On every exit, the SOL received is deposited single sided into the coin's liquidity pool and the liquidity receipt is burned. tom's allowance is not credited. The program has no path that returns sell proceeds to tom. This is the mechanism: tom's losses become permanent depth.
What a tick is
A tick is one price read from Birdeye, taken once per second. The program and this site use the same source. An up tick is strictly higher than the previous read, a down tick strictly lower, an equal read counts as neither and changes nothing. The run counter, the run reference price, the mark and the basis are all recomputed on every tick.
Reading the room
The room on the front page is a drawing. tom, the desk, the monitor, the lamp, the mug and the window are hand drawn lines and they are always moving a little. The text on the monitor is not decoration: it is his SOL balance, his coin balance, his mark and his mode, read from the chain every second. The small chart on the monitor is the last forty ticks. tom's pose changes with his mode and his head moves on every tick.
Reading the wallet page
The wallet page lists every swap the wallet has ever made in the coin, read directly from transaction history, with a link to each signature on Solscan. The reconciliation row compares the sum of those swaps to the balance the chain reports, so you can see the fill log is complete. Results are computed from the fills alone.
Reading the automaton page
The automaton page shows the five constants, the state machine with the current state marked, the live run counter and position figures, and the last twenty ticks with the counter value after each one. If you watch it during a run you can see the counter climb and the move approach twelve percent in real time.
Reading the pool page
The pool page counts the SOL that tom's exits have sent into liquidity, lists every sell that caused it, and explains what deeper liquidity does to the chart.
What this site never does
It never asks you to connect a wallet. It never shows a number it did not read from Birdeye, the Solana RPC or its own tables. It never shows a placeholder. It never animates anything outside the room. It never shows the ticker. It never calls the valuation anything but valuation.
Verification
tom's wallet address and the coin's contract address are printed on the wallet page as links to Solscan. Every fill in every table links to its transaction. Anyone can check that the sells sent their SOL to the pool and not to tom by opening those transactions.
